was a New Zealand television producer and presenter, radio broadcaster, entertainment producer, singer, cabaret performer and writer. Cryer studied singing in Italy.His professional career began onstage at Sadler's Wells Opera, London, with appearances on BBC and at Wigmore Hall. His performing activity then widened to include musical theatre, recording, television and cabaret. In 1969 a Hollywood agency contracted him for ten years as an entertainer, leading to 15 tours of the United States, appearing in San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.In New Zealand, Max Cryer was the country’s first television quizmaster and subsequently made over 300 appearances on television as entertainer, and hosted 12 different television series including New Zealand's first live talk-variety show, Town Cryer. Gunilla Bergström (1942 - 2021), died at age 79 years

was a Swedish author, journalist, and illustrator. She is best known for her series of children's books about the character Alfie Atkins (Swedish: Alfons Åberg). Born in Gothenburg, Bergström moved to Stockholm in 1966 to begin her career as a journalist. She worked for Swedish newspapers such as Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter. Bergström debuted as a children's book author in 1971, and released her first Alfie Atkins book in 1972. She has been a children's book author ever since, having released twenty-five Alfie books as of 2007. These books have been translated into twenty-nine different languages and have sold over eight million copies worldwide. Four million copies have been sold in Sweden alone. Marco Hausiku (1953 - 2021), died at age 67 years

was a Namibian politician who was Deputy Prime Minister of Namibia from 2010 to 2015. Previously he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2010. In 2017 he was elected Deputy Secretary-General of the Swapo Party at the party's 6th Congress. Hausiku was born in Kapako, Okavango Region (now Kavango West). Immediately prior to independence, Hausiku was a SWAPO member of the Members of the Constituent Assembly which was in place from November 1989 to March 1990, and since 1990 he has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia. He served as Minister of Lands, Resettlement and Rehabilitation from 1990 to 1992, as Minister of Works, Transport and Communication from 1992 to March 1995 and as Minister of Prisons and Correctional Services from March 1995 to August 2002. He was appointed Minister of Labour on 27 August 2002, and after nearly two years in that position he was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs by President Sam Nujoma on 27 May 2004. This appointment followed Nujoma's dismissal of the previous foreign minister, Hidipo Hamutenya, in the midst of a struggle within SWAPO regarding the nomination of a presidential candidate., , In Memory of Marco Hausiku.
