Harry Mowbray (1947 - 2022), died at age 75 years

was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a defender. Mowbray began his career in his native Scotland with Cowdenbeath in 1966. After one season with the Blue Brazil, he moved south to join Stan Mortensen's Blackpool, signing for them on his 20th birthday. He made his debut for the Tangerines on 29 August 1967 in a 1–1 draw at Ipswich Town in the league, replacing the injured Bill Bentley. He went on to make a further 26 league appearances in the 1967–68 campaign, playing alongside Jimmy Armfield., , In Memory of Harry Mowbray.
